It’s Time to Say Goodbye -Farewell and Thank You for Your Support!

I am writing to share some important [but sad] news about Lekker Ekse.

I began this little business just over a year ago while still at school.

It was fun and rewarding. I learnt so much as I went. The best part was developing great relationships with you and reading great feedback about the biltong, stokkies and other goodies.

This made me very proud.

In Jan this year (after finishing school last year), I was offered a full-time Fabrication Apprenticeship. This new opportunity aligns with my long-term career goals, and I am very excited about it.

I believe it is very important that I get some kind of trade or education foundation behind me as I head out into the world as an adult.

My days start at 6:00am, ends at 3:30pm and I work every 2nd Saturday.

It has become increasingly challenging to maintain the level of quality and customer service I strive for with Lekker Ekse, so it is truly with a saddened heart, I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Lekker Ekse for now.

It has been an incredible journey, and I am truly grateful for your loyalty, kind words, and enthusiastic feedback, which have been the backbone of my success.

While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to Lekker Ekse, I am filled with excitement for the adventures that lie ahead. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I will carry the experiences and knowledge gained from Lekker Ekse with me into my future endeavours.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to you for being an integral part of this incredible journey. Your support has meant the world to me, and I am committed to fulfilling all outstanding orders and ensuring a smooth transition during this process.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering support of Lekker Ekse. I am grateful beyond words.
